Jeffrey Steiner

Jeffrey Steiner is the CEO of the Fairchild Corporation, an international business in the markets of motorcycle apparel and aircraft parts manufacturing and distribution services. Jeffrey Steiner is a lesser recognized takeover artist who leveraged Banner Aerospace to buy Fairchild Industries and create the Fairchild Corporation in the early 90s.

Jeffrey J Steiner was a born in Austria, but fled his homeland during World War II to escape the Nazi invasion. Jeffrey Steiner learned to speak four languages and currently has residences in London, Paris, St. Tropez, Palm Beach, and New York. Jeffrey Steiner earned a degree in textile engineering from the Bradford Institute of Technology, after which he worked for Texas Instruments. Jeffrey Steiner advanced quickly at Texas Instruments, earning a position on the management committee by age 25 and later becoming an executive. Jeffrey Steiner worked for Texas Instruments for ten years before becoming interested in foreign markets.

After leaving Texas Instruments, Jeffrey Steiner traveled to Europe, where he built up an investment portfolio before returning to the United States. Jeffrey J Steiner’s business sense paid off when he bought enough shares of Banner Aerospace to become its Chairman. Jeffrey Steiner then leveraged Banner Aerospace as a buyout company. This business model led Jeffrey Steiner to rescue Fairchild Industries in 1989 from the Carlyle Group in a cash transaction of $265 million. This business deal consolidated Banner’s annual revenues by more than 100 percent to almost $1 billion. Jeffrey Steiner bought out the rest of the shares of Banner Aerospace and renamed the merged companies the Fairchild Corporation in 1990.

Jeffrey Steiner has been CEO of the Fairchild Corporation since 1985. During Jeffrey Steiner’s time as Chairman, the Fairchild Corporation became a global leader in aerospace. Jeffrey Steiner was Chairman of the Fairchild Corporation until May 2008. He remains the CEO.
