Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a popular radio and television personality with over thirty years of experience. She gives back to the nation with her no-nonsense advice on life, love and family. She also gives back in the way of philanthropy. She is a benefactor to Operation Family Fund. Operation Family Fund is a non-profit organization providing financial and other needed support for family members of soldiers, air force and navy personnel.
Dr. Laura leveraged her business and public success, in the media as a tool to allow her to help more people. Before her media success, Dr. Laura Schlessinger studied Biological Sciences at SUNY Stonybrook, Long Island, NY. She also earned her PhD from Columbia University. Dr. Laura earned her Post-Graduate Certificate in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. Additionally, Dr. Laura is a licensed counselor in Marriage, Family and Children (MFCC).
Dr. Laura has parlayed her experience into being an author of numerous NY Times Bestsellers and children’s books.
